THE FICTION

THE FACTS

The Speculation

We all have to spend time reconciling our mental models of the world with the stark reality that we experience and determine some way to move forwards in our lives. Equally here I attempt to reconcile my fiction with my facts, but as I go back through them the red clock also runs backwards, signifying that eventually the two must converge or something must be discarded. Maybe five years is too long to allow this red time to continue, but perhaps it isn't even long enough. My speculation is described in the articles below and if you are the sort of reader who likes to know what goes on inside the mind of a fiction writer it may interest you. However, a word of warning is in order. My next door neighbour started to read my novel and slowly worked her way through the first few chapters. She told my wife that she was trying to see inside my mind and my wife replied that to attempt that was madness. So, if you have studied psychology then you may see some sense in what I have written here, but I haven’t. If you haven’t either and yet still do, then perhaps you ought to consult a psychologist yourself. If there are further developments worth remarking upon then I may add further sessions here in the future. As ever you are welcome to send your comments on this to me Scriptor here at Mens Temporum UK.
